| found this on another site thought i might share this as it may come in useful
1 tablespoon of vaseline 1 tablespoon of 'flowers of sulphur' 1 teaspoon of lighter fuel
Mix together to make a paste apply on affected area(best to apply to an area bigger than is affected).The birds skin will change from a blueish colour to a sand colour the following day.A bit messy but it does work.In a loft where there is a history of this condition treat ALL the birds in that section just before they moult.
The above is a tried and tested treatment used for many years.I myself have used it and can say NOBODY will post a treatment which will cure the problem better. Its 100% effective. |

| Ivomec on perches works. However, Diatamaceous Earth powder works better and is cheaper. Big bag is cheap. I use it on the dog blankets in tick season. Gets rid of worms also. |
