| My late father had them done edgie, along with 2 new hips,done him the world of good, wish they would do mine |

| a couple of old uns in the pigeon club had them done edgie, and getting around fine now without all the pain too........ |

| father in law ex plumber had his done still plays up a little but much better than before a vast improvement |

| Not as successful as false hip implants, knee's much harder to align by the surgeon whereas the hip is ball and socket joint which virtually self aligns. Its usually the softer lower bearing that fails or comes out of its housing. I spent 4 years buliding machines to test knee and hip joints prior to them being used in surgery. Guy 2 doors up from me had 4 yrs hell with his knee replacement yet many people right as rain afterwards. Its down to the skill of the surgeon. |

| A mate of mine had both done together as they both gave him terrible pain now he is OK with the new knee's |

| going to ask the doc for a referral next week , see what the specialist says but if I have them done , its both together because I am not going in the hospital twice , bad thing is the bulk of the birds will have to go , certainly till I get going again |

| im not sure if they do both together edgie, maybe one at a time............although that eamon holmes on tv had both his done a while ago, but then again he wont have been nhs I wouldn't think. |

| They do both together dave my mate had them done on the nhs the same time he told the doc to do both as he would not come back again years of crawling under rusty old knackers |
