Thunderstorms, heavy, heavy rain. Some young were blown out of the Sputnik. So wet they could not fly. Grabbed them and put them back. All locked in now.1.30 am and it is still raining.

Same, same last week here Hal Remember the Rotweiller job I mentioned   . One poor red cock  some how got his head caught in the paling fence nex door sadly & was going no where & become lunch for the dog unfortunately by the time I scaled the fence. One tail feather left, ripped down the back (munch munch)      & traumaticed "Big time"    . Fortunately, it was his lucky day to a degree as an old fella took great pity on him under the circumstances & he still survives.

Well, after a lousy start it brightened up nice, may get the ybs out later if it stays like this

Mental adjustment for me here this morning. Clocks went back an hour to finish daylight saving etc. Now in real time & so I presume ??? the world will be in a better place now I suspect .

Bright and sunny here in frogland, with high cloud base.

Hardly any wind - just the right kind of day to do a bit of training with our old birds.

I think this will be the penultimate toss for most of them, before we start racing on the 15th April. Less than 2 weeks away now. Oh Scary!

Last one . Same, same here   & 22 C etc. Now Ray "My Sunderland" went 0 from 2 yesterday, word is they have started planning already sadly, for next season as such    .

It stayed good all afternoon.

We got some training in for our yearlings. Cocks did really well - the hens were rubbish!

More about that later.

Same, same as yesterday here etc & 24 C. Sitting outside mid afternoon yesterday as such with the sun to the west & I looked up high in the sky to the north etc & there was this thing      with a big smile on it's face "Don't be to hasty now"     looking down on my babies who were having a bath at the time. Was it panic stations no way for this little duck as it was only the moon in it's full glory there, telling me to just enjoy my day .  

had a few showers this morning looks like its brightening up into a good day now though
