Good yb session today

Been a really nice day here, sunny warm hardly a cloud in the sky, ybs are usually getting to the hour/ hour and a half, today there was a nice breeze coming off the sea and within 10 minutes the birds were nowhere to be seen, excellent, all came back after an hour had a quick look and shot off again, brilliant, another 30 minutes over they came, landed and we tried calling them in and they are usually straight through the wires, well this time they decided they hadn't had enough, so took off and did another hour, they just seemed to love the cool breeze off the sea, me and the lad were well chuffed, 2 and a half hours, they're ready to get up the road I think, how are everyone else's younguns doing

glad to hear ybs are coming on well roy, they sound like they are in good condition and enjoying the exercise......ATB for the yb season

great stuff glad to hear things are going well m8...ours are in a heavy moult now but still do an hour

Chepstow on the 15th July John, only a short one for us 55 miles, are yours on the same as us

Thanks daz, some of ours are in a heavy body moult but the earlier ybs are through that and are more like young adults now and are in super condition,just hope they're wings last

Lofty - It sounds like your young birds are getting fitter by the day.

Also - Johnnorm2 - what a wonderful young bird season you have ahead - we will be lucky if we get 5 y/b races in total.

The funny frogs don't go in for young bird racing much and our season ends at the end of July - crap or what.

I have tried to find some more races after July, but no dice.

I seem to remember one of our members saying about the French racing season is strange, hes on guernsey and they race the same way...........

I like the yb racing even more now we have a few shorter races for them. Would not like it if we only had a few like you phil. I will be trying to give all the ybs at least 5 races hopefully some a few more but see how it goes lol

That's much the same as our race programme John, except Swansea obviously , but we're looking forward to racing this year, got a decent team at the minute, let's see what's left after training and when the Hawks have had a go at them
