| Stock birds. Heck of a time so far. New loft etc, plastic one. 15 nest boxes. Had wire bottom 3 feet under the nest boxes. So do not have to bend to catch one. Girders are 6 feet high, roof apex 8 feet. Had the top portion covered with plastic mesh. Ahem. One hen had snuck up there and laid an egg on the mesh. Got her down. Made pole perches and went to put them in. About 5 more were above the mesh. So. Pulled down the mesh. Took out the wire mesh on the bottom also. Now have some wanting to floor nest. Threw in dead weeds. Many perching on the beams. All that extra space has rejuvenated the recent ones I put over. 1 blue bar cock, 3 red cocks. Plus their mates. Best fliers I have over the last 5 years. Intend to send young to a one loft race next year. So have to have them happy. Be strict! Never give in to your pigeons! Yeah right....

| The avatar pic? She was called Peanuts. She would take a peanut from my mouth anytime. Very tame. She also won me a 400 miler and a 550 miler same year. Bred off Tom Mackaweckis red Jansen's. |
