stock birds

had a stock cock escape tonight, im proper pissed off about it, he is a direct son of my good van hee the vindicator, he aint gone far so just may come back as he landed in the garden twice, he has never been out in his life before, I do have brothers and sisters sons and daughters, hope I get him back ?.

had a belg rung bird never went out before but managed to escape never saw it for 10 days went out in the garden it was outside the loft trying to get in ...fair chance you will get him by the sounds of it ,lets hope so

if he survives the night and the wild life don't get him he will be back,and yes david I have bred from him and he is paird why else would he be in the stock loft,he is driving his hen to nest again at the moment so wont go far just hope he works it out,like I said he has never been out in his life,he is 3-4 years old

had birds out since 6am till 8pm my young bird came back at 7-45pm but no sighn of the stock cock

sorry to hear that edgie still time yet ....I got my yb back too that knighted out but the nest mates away tonight they were a bit old when I got them we had them out a few times soaped down but their comes a time when you have to let what will be ...be ...its been about so maybe see it tomorrow when its had enough of its freedom and hunger kicks in

got the young birds in this morning while they were feeding I had a quick count, 1 too many it was my stock bird returned, bit thin but ok

Lucky man but I wouldn't try that trick again Steve, or your luck may have just run out .

no nothing david ...don't think I will see that one again why people wait so long to send ybs to you I will never know they were far too strong when the arrived but we have 3 out of the 4 flying out I guess you could always lose any bird off the loft best time to get ybs is 25 days then get them straight out when they arrive
