anyone else decided they want to join the forum syndicate in 2018 for the rpra one loft...?

probably along the same lines as last years phil, I think we had 10 members in the syndicate and we paid around £20 or £25 each which covered the cost of 2 birds in the rpra and courier for the 2 tumley birds.

for the 2018 one loft venture we already have more members joining the syndicate so maybe we could enter more than 2 birds, or maybe another one loft......we will need to discuss all this and which birds we will be sending, and also how many.

yep, me too ray.....be nice to improve on this years performance eh.

we should be able to send a few more as its very cheap and hardly any shipping costs but then members may want to send somewhere else but bear in mind the transportation costs hitting the kitty atb

We went to pick up the bird we bought from the RPRA auction yesterday.

Has anyone been to the loft? If so what did you think of it? I was VERY surprised!

I met a guy that sends birds to a lot of One Loft Races. I am sure he would be the guy to ask for some help regarding what is out there and what is a good race to enter.

David know who I am speaking about (Paul) and I think we should pick his brains if we can.

I would like to see the forum entering more than just one race run by the RPRA. There are LOTS of races out there.

Then the question of which birds do we send has to be addressed. I now have the mother and sister of the bird that was 2nd (beaten by 2 seconds) in a big race in Ireland (I think it was).

If the forum wanted, I could breed us one from either bird. This family of birds have proven themselves in One Loft races.

we wont need to send money until next season some time, when we have decided which one loft we are entering......I think the rpra seems very popular with the members, as they did a very good job in the one just gone.

as for which pigeons we will be entering will be up to members of the syndicate deciding....and also how many birds we will be sending will depend on how many members in the syndicate.

I hope we are not just going to enter the RPRA one!

There are lots out there to choose from.

David, you say that the RPRA one is popular with members - has anyone asked members if they want to send birds to the RPRA race and on what scale - 0 -- for not at all and 10-- for very much.

It seems to me that we are being very narrow mined about what events to send our birds to.

There must be at least 4 or 5 One Loft races just in the UK - never mind the dozens abroad.

David, you should talk to Paul about the things he has and is doing.

not being narrow minded phil, don't panic......the rpra is only one of many one lofts, all these options will need to be discussed, and all members of the syndicate will need to have their say.

also all members will need to give their opinions on which birds will be sent.

I am happy with any one loft race just happy to be in one ...And I would be happy to put a pigeon in just like all of us I suppose but if not I am still happy

thanks for the input jet/scaife bros......it would be good to hear the views of all our syndicate members over the next few weeks maybe, so it will give us some idea of what we will be doing.
