Dave O, the guy who moved to Nova Scotia and built the orange loft posted this today.
""Topic of interest. Today the Central Nova RPC. In Nova Scotia had our club meeting today. We are very happy to report that in less then a year we have pretty much doubled our club membership.5 more new members joined up today. Totalling 14 members.
As well we are incorporating a 9 week race schedule shipping obs and ybs at the same time and released together at the race point. No shipping limit at this time ,but the unwritten rule is 50 bird limit. We can adjust this as more members start racing or build a bigger trailer in time , and open clocking. Depending on the amount of shippers we are doing this for less then $20.00 per race. Based on 10 shippers. If more ship that number is much less and we expect all 14 will be racing in a short period of time.
We plan on starting on July 7 th and finishing Sept 1st 2018. We intend on a overall result obs and ybs. An ob result and a yb result each week.
We are looking forward to seeing how this goes with the obs and their moult. Have to do some lighting tricks and delay pairing up the ob racers to hold the wing moult. Ybs not such a big deal.
This is a great way to have fun and save on 2 sets of trailer fees each yr and tying up only 9 weeks a yr racing. Instead of the entire summer from May to the end of September. The wife and kids are going to love that for our younger flyers.
We continue to organize and seek out new members and there are a couple more that have not joined up but are very interested.""
