| I visit the Up North Combine site. Canadian one. They promote the race there. However, they have been questioned as to some practices. Example. Some folks enter their birds and fly the races stipulated. At the end of the Trifecta the remaining birds are sent to the Big 400 young bird race. Some are sent as teams. T qualify for various awards etc,. I had assumed that if I had 5 birds left it would be a team. Some folks only have one or two birds left. So, as far as I understand, the guys running the Trifecta make up teams. With their own birds. Gets complicated. Just an uneasy feeling. May just go with the Empire Classic Triple Crown. Won a $1000 there first time I entered years ago. Still have the framed Diploma. All above board. |

| Yes Boosey. Mealy hen. Same breeding as the one on my avatar. Still many of that family here. Initially when I first got the reds, was not a fan of reds. Black checks were my favourite colour. But heck, one goes for what one wins with! Purple or pink or rainbow! How soon one gets colour blind!! More money next year. http://www.empireclassictriplecrown.com/ |
