I've heard red feet are a sign of health, ad far as oxygen and iron. Not much good reading that I have found. This is ads red as I've seen my pigeons' feet. Camera is a piece of junk. I have noticed that when they receive more than two days of redcell or steel wool in the water their feet REALLY turn a blood red. does anyone believe this is too much iron in the blood? They don't feel like cannon balls to a green horn anyway.

I dont know iv not used redcell yet....but if it is really noticeable i would look at the droppings to see if the kidneys are over working...think id half the dose anyway and practice on the white ones...

Warm feet huh? Makes sense. Plenty of blood flow I guess. The droppings look fine if I'm observing correctly. I'll see if there are any changes. -3c in the loft right now

Interesting perspective no medications here though. I'll try to find more information on the matter. I was wondering if it was a hormonal thing.

Most feral pigeons have dark feet, legs. Have had racers with black lines on their legs. Think any connection with health is speculative.
