Race birds are laying now. Calendar is out. Marking off days I have to put dummies under them or dump them. To get set up for the first races, May 5th. 2 yearlings will maybe take a yb off. Will see, will not take young off unknown racers. (Yearlings.) 8 best racers are in the stock loft with few other proven pairs. Sched came on line today. Two 320 milers, 2 four hundered milers. All go if fit to 400 once or twice. Yearlings also.

that's a good way of assessing if they are feeling better denise , when ive had ill birds I always know they are on the mend when they start to show an interest in their mates, or building nests etc......also ive found, ill birds tend not to moult, but once they are getting better they moult.

just my opinion and observation , others might not agree lol!

yes , its a nice feeling when they are all back to good health.....its depressing when they are ill, for me it takes away the enjoyment factor, because every time you go to the loft your half expecting another to be ill.

glad to hear yours are on the mend and a lot better. cheers

I use columbovac vaccination as it doesn't leave grease marks on the neck but that's my preferred one but nobivac is just as good same dose as the old birds Denise
