| quite possible jet, maybe another cock went into the nest box, 28 days is a bit old to get trampled I would think, but not out of the question if two cocks were having a prolonged fight....... |

| does it look like the yb has been attacked by a older ck as david says I cany see a 28 day old yb being trampled ...look down the ybs throat see if theirs any type of blockage |

| maybe just one of those things,if every other bird looks ok and the droppings are ok nothing you can do. 2 seasons ago i picked a bl.wht.yb out of its box it was about 25 doy, i put it back in and it dropped dead no idea wtf was a matter with it...maybe weak heart all birds and animals us included could have something undiagnosed and drop dead....on thhat cheerful note atb with the rest of your ybs |

| Sounds as if it had a hart attack wouldn't worry to much if all the others look OK I wean mine as soon as they are eating OK or the feathers are all covers under the wings and you can't see any skin |
