| i've heard that before, there a fake bands out there too. no matter what it is someone is going to try and run a scam with it |

| Many Belgians, Dutch and Germans here. More in demand than UK banded birds. Yet for years one club I was in was dominated by an Hungarian. 90%of his birds came from the UK. 100 to 500 miles no one could beat him. Not often anyway. |

| Knackered, you naughty boy, just like those fanciers who like showing their pigeons, pair two blues up and race them to qualify for a certain distance then pair a show bird and a racer, (both blues) and cull the race birds and put them on the half show birds.
Although I did have some of my favourites well over 10 ears old, but it was always a balancing act because there is nothing worse than overcrowding.
Every pigeon that performed well for me died with and was disposed of with it's ring intact and I never removed a ring from any pigeon I had to cull through selection etc;
But as you say, each to his own
