| My club is having an open race Easter Monday as an opener to the start of the season which starts next week, and hopefully maybe raise some funds for the club, I’m worried it maybe a wash out with all this bad weather as no one will be able to train beforehand. I got a bit of training into my spare hens the last couple of weeks, so weather permitting I will send some of them. Fingers crossed this wet weather breaks for Monday and it’s a success. Are members entering any opens, they are so scarce now. |

| Distance? Less than a 150 miles not worth it. 150 plus you can get "potential" bad weather birds. I would not ship to lose them. Early days yet. Long season ahead. |

| I am not surprise they have cancelled the open race. The weather here in Mid Glos' is terrible and they forecast snow again for Monday.
I don't know what to think about racing at this time of year with all the rubbish weather we have had and very little time to train.
