I agree Mark has to be loft I suspect as we all know here the owner knows nothing etc .

Folks the more I learn the less I know. Old birds and yearlings out today. As expected loft switching. Nest box fights. So let them go at it as I did two days ago. Very strong wind. But birds are settling down now. Picking grit and soil and flying well over an hour or so. I have no concerns whatsoever about racing them. No matter how many training tosses I can get in. Hope for a ten and twenty perhaps a 40 miler. On nest with dummy eggs or driving. They will have it sorted out before May 5. Does not matter. Weather does not matter. Best will return. One loft is crap. Falling apart now. Slated for demolition end of year. 24 x 8. But birds in there are happy as pigs in shit. It is their home.

Understand the pig in sh*t bit Hal Pity thou, some will feel rather disappointed I suggest when you move them all on to a new type loft etc at the end of the year there .

Just another loft. 12 x 8 feet. Very similar. Performers will go there. Others lost or culled. Cut down year.
