One lofters.

Got a message on the Alberta Classic site tonite. Ex-cop, excellent pigeon flier. Mike van Jagt. From way up North. Informed me he will be at the Canadian Racing pigeon office May 1st. Would take my entries to Niagara One loft race. CU members only allowed to fly. Morb was going to enter it. I had written it off, as with other One Lofters. But! Have just weaned some young birds. White, reds, blues. I had commited 3 (max) to send. $100 each. Back in January. CU office is in Tillsonburg. Hour 30 to get there. But May 1st. Maybe can train old birds also weather permitting. 65 miles anyway.
Entries are about at the max. 500. All monies are paid out. 320 km first race. Next race 530 which is optional.  Many top fliers entered. Up to me now to send birds from non-medicated parents to compete with all who use state of the art additives. Very interesting indeed!!!

i say send them hal, good luck whatever you decide........

Come on Hal, show them that the pigeons do not need all the commercial products that only line the commercial thieves pockets.

And keep us informed of their progress'

Idea is about dead now. Wife is having surgery on that date. Whatever, wife takes priority. Just disapointed a little. May find another way to ship them but bleak looking at this time. Wife is from Yorkshire. No real concerns on that matter. Tough bugger.

Goes without saying Hal, our prayers are with you.

Your wife must be a diamond putting up with you for all those years ( but then she is from Yorkshire) I bet there has been a few feathers flyng during all that time and not all regarding pigeons.

I know from personal experience when pigeons come a poor second.

Special type rare diamonds I suggest Misty "Wifes" that put up with tragic type pigeon flyers etc     that have had them from their wedding day as such to when we finish up as fertilizer in the ground type of thing .
