cool here got conservatory doors open, nice breeze coming in........

very warm here tonight we got steel corrugated sheet on our roofs and its cooler out than in at anytime of the day ...me and Alfie put the pop up tent up today so we are camping in the garden tonight sorry Raymond no room at the inn

Bit of as relief with the weather here today after yesterdays gale force winds etc Ray . Had one hen in the toss yesterday "80 miles" just thrown against the front of the loft with the wind gusts when landing it was that strong, sadly. Just walked up & picked it up off the ground as it was in complete noddy land with the wack it took hitting the loft etc.

What a shame ,sad to hear that knackered..

Will give her a well earned rest Ray after her wack etc. Tossed the cocks today down south into a header from 20 odd miles. One late arrival just on dark. Decided to take on a fence     & lost Dr Death here, will have some needle work tomorrow unfortunately .

I went to Stu's loft today. He wasn't there. The ole scrat is still working for the money god still lol.
I took over the troughs, Aluimium Hospital cage, Feed, grit and some Drinkers etc. etc.
He missed out on the old clay pots of the 40 / 50's … Joyce wanted them for the garden etc.

The birds were out per normal. Has lofts, chicken / budgies etc. up the fields.
Some youngsters looked a bit off... scragerly and rough feathered. Moult I guess is taking a toll.
Many though were wings spread out lapping up the sun.
Know he has held them back from some rtaces etc.
I think - personally - that will have done them the world of good. Just lazing about and content. It is the very first and all important C's.
Will be all the better as yearlings I'd wager.

I have my "small" team of yearlings daz, one race and they are done for this season.....what impact will 5 yearlings have next year I wonder eh.......

Depends David I suggest. If every body there is in the same boat, could maybe just blow the cost factor to race out the door so to speak etc.
