Last month hot hazy humid. High 40's C. Two more days then weather breaks. Out West so many fires racing curtailed. Too much smoke for the birds to navigate through.

Over night Rain and still some the same … overcast.

dull day today, windy but dry for now.........might let my ybs out

Just had the coldest August day here Hal in 50 odd years etc. 1C This climate change thing, is a real bugger I've found . Now       just had my Geordie mate ring here     in tears. Whole race team, gone in a fly away unfortunately. Sadly one less flyer I suggest for our next race I suspect.  

Knackered. Last time I was in Aussie Townsville and Rockhampton were fine. Weather wise. But does not really matter. Climate is changing rapidly. Mine are out now in hot humid weather. Thunderstorms whatever. Weather supposed to break tonight. 8.15 pm here now. From 40 to 13 C. No matter. Way of the world. Birds will adapt. Or die.

as you know Hal on this little island off mine here winter tempretures vary in rather a dramatic way on average. Up North yesterday here it was 30+C & down South 12/13 C. Great, for many of the senior brigade who feel the cold down South as such, as they just head North for winter to the warmer areas to escape. Unless that is one just happens to be a pigeon nutter type & you just have to grin & bare what may the best way you can    .

yes daz, laid many a 3 x 2 on the councils paths, apprentices got all the crap jobs, the old tradesmen wouldn't touch them
