3.20 am. Thunderstorms and tornados gone through. 18 C. Little quieter so will head back to bed for an hour or so.

Same, same here & heading for 23 C etc.

6 C tonight. Snow should be a coming 4 weeks or so.

Chilly type day here also . Poor little buggers in our race today etc unfortunately will do it hard again & considering as such the winner last week here from around the same distance was clocked 4 hours odd after sunset some how & so my bones tell me unfortunately it will be an alarm clock type scenario tomorrow for most of the flyers flying on average.

Thought all clubs feds had an hour before and after sunset sunrise? Or birds not counted as in race time?

We live in a weird type world here Hal in relation to when a race starts & finishes on the day type of the thing. Differant local Feds have different rules which apply. Pigeon under discussion actually flew well into the darkness on the night as such by being clocked well  after 11-pm I believe, but its time was actually worked out on sunset which was around 6.20 pm on the night of the race. Weird     in a strange type way     but we are just a bunch of Aussies I'm   & so no other explanation is really required one could suggest    .
