| there has been a post on this but cant find it, what I want to no is do any one know where I can get the 3.5 volt battery from, and any one have a problem with putting a new in ie not starting or anything like that. sorry I haven`t been on for a long time had a lot of probs with the the misses in fact nearly lost her but that at the moment is in the past. thanks in advance with any help I can get with putting a new battery in. |

| hi ginger, great to see you back, and sorry to hear your wife has been ill, but hopefully on the mend........
ive heard of fanciers fitting their own batteries in the past, I don't think its hard to do, but if I remember right there was something you had to do while removing the old battery, something like keeping the circuit connected, or something like that. |

| I’ve got a t3s, I’ve looked in the back and can’t see how you can open it up to get at the battery |

| don't think its permitted to change your own may be wrong though...the t3 has security screws on mine so you cannot get at the battery |

| I have got to the battery it`s lithium 3.5 and it is solderd either end what I wanted to no is dose it need a code to re start it and where do you get the battery from & do it have to be charged up. |

| Not worth the hassle and aggravation , best get it done by the experts and its done properly and to union/association standard, also it will have been serviced as well |

| it`s not hassel lofty its a case I have 3 t3 and I thought I would have a go at putting a battery in and am a club clock setter if the clock dont work after in the bin no problem, if I dont try nothing lost, but a lot to gain. |

| had a new battery fitted in mine a couple of years ago, think it was around £45 plus postage, so be a saving if you can do it your self ginger..... |

| Forgot all about this, how did you get on ginger, did you manage to change the battery, if so can you let us know how you did it and what battery was used |

| not yet mate had to wait for soldering iron and rubber and punch to seal the plug holes now I have all this my next job is to find the battery if and when I find it and do the job will let you no |

| They could have made the job far easier, but hey, they would rather you pay over the odds for them to do it.
