Turfs Arrived.........

turf came at 9.00am this morning, so looks like I`ll be putting that down for the next day or two.........doesn't look like the daughter will be getting her car out any time soon.......

David, After laying the turf get some weed killer for between the paving slabs, or tey may invade your new turf.

At least it wont be ours Lofty thankfully "bad back" I suggest etc . Best for David also to forget about using Round up as a weed killer there. Just watched another story about Monsanto, the maker of it . Now owned by Bayer & they are now faising the name Monsanto to the history books for some strange reason there it appears. Maybe just it could have some thing to do with 9,000 odd people suing them now for the harm it has caused them so to speak, with their cancer issues.

worked for these lot and actually worked in the roundup plant for year or so, massive site bigger than most villages, some of the stuff we used to handle there kill you quicker than any of them Russian tourists

First come across the Monsanto types & there ways Rog when I was in holiday mode etc ???????     in the jungles in Vietnam etc. Worked wonders there thou I must admit, being honest     "100% strike rate" as I walked through it        as most of it unfortunately was as dead as a door nail      for mile after mile    .

……..done the same for a lot of lads that worked there pal, shut the place down 10years or more, nobody wants the site cos it will cost millions to clear whats lurking underneath,

Knowing David, FW my bones tell me here his pace is about the same unfortunately as Hal's snail etc .

Maybe so FW But our David     is a thinker type etc & he doesn't wish to lay the next piece there to the puzzle I suggest, the wrong way round so to speak . Heard also     on the grape vine, his daughter has gone out & bought a new car also as such     because of the pace he is setting him self    .

yes knackered, although I moved it from behind her car within an hour of it being delivered, I can motivate my self sometimes .....very rarely though
