Wouldn't have a clue what I'm on about here "as normal". But put me down for 5 hours & 50 minutes etc    .

The first were over 1400 ypm. Tail wind. But one takes the chance. Headwind or tail wind. Weather cannot be controlled. But a go for me next year.

Interesting type race FW I suggest. Interesting seeing the differant names of each bird etc there also & then wondering why & how they come by there name as such .

Ganus was in it and other big names. Clausing etc,. They had some show in the results. Drop the speed to 1100 or less would have been a whole different result. But one cannot predict the weather and one always takes his chances. Name of the game. One loft or club race.

Had a heated type discussion     last night at our centre FW here. I mentioned one chook farmer type who actually fly's a small select team as a 2nd team for the enjoyment factor I suspect. One bird there has had 5 Fed spots "a Cuester type I believe" & is a bird well above average by our way etc by my standards. Sadly certain people on the night, just would not give the pigeon any consideration what ever as a good bird type of thing, which I found most disappointing, unfortunately as it deserved much better    .

Ganus, I visited one of his lofts when in Canada.

Met him in Detroit. Ganus. He was selling Red Fox Jannsens I beleive. Auction at the Detroit club. Seemed like a very nice person. Many years ago.
