| Cold water (even having to break the ice) or warm water, in the loft or outside, what's best?? |

| I prefer warm water colin, I think the birds can relax more with the warm on their bodies / muscles etc.
also add salt and vinegar |

| Yes david, I always used warmish, but not hot, water and the birds seemed to stay in longer, but I recently saw allotment kept pigeons enjoying cold bath around freezing temps but they didn't hang around soaking in it very long. Lots of bloom on the top though. |

| Never seen a wild bird asking for warm water, seen my pigeons bathing in the waterfall when part of the pond was frozen over.
In my opinion it could do more harm than good, not natural.
Regards. |

| I agree with Misty, I’ve never put any warm water in the bath. My birds seem to love it whatever the weather. |
