Salt IS the kiddy!

You know I often get raised eyebrows, or a tut when I say I treat a wound etc. with salt, Whether a mellow dose of heavy one. Never had after effects, and have ALWAYS come dried and heathy and then back to normal.

Why bring this up - again? Why only has once answer, which is Because! So because I'm just back from dentist having a tooth out. Per normal the do's and don't are the same. Top for healing etc. if needed... SALT!

salt /salt water always does the job iodine has its uses to but not too much to be used ,povidone is a good quality one atb

You all know that all bacteria, and fungi, need water to flourish. Salt withdraws water from the environment. That's why it is a good preservative and used in pickling fish, meat, sauerkraut, etc.

worse things that one could do for our birds I suggest Daz at times, if one chose to give them a bath with salt in it as such.

Salt is advised in certain circumstances, I like it with vinegar on chips.

But being serious, it is recommended in several ways with regard to skin problems in particular, it is not a cure in many cases but a means of drying up the problem and letting nature actually cure.



But as with anything else, if it works for you ???.



One or two sailors would have something to say about salt.

When younger Iodine stung by golly. was used by nigh all families on the kids. Cat and nine tails incurred a good rubbing in of salt. Kept the wounds clean and healed.

Have advocated the use of Germoleen for cuts etc; for more years than I can remember, would not recommend gargling with it, used to be pink, the pc brigade must have taken offence because it is now white.

Learnt another simple logic Monday. Mould etc. in Bath / shower rooms? Use a disinfectants and wipe off. Of course … simple really.
