| If it has winners in the parents strains mean nothing. Healthy vibrant pigeons win. |

| Just as with humans, those best at any sport are not identifiable by any outside appearance, they come in all colours, shapes sizes and intelligence.
Would be too easy if you could.
Although you would still get fanciers ruining the best pigeons in an attempt to beat nature, a fore lone hope.
Regards. |

| It's nice to get pigeons directly off winners but few and far between will sell you them . Winners breed winners but not obviously all...going to a winning loft is the best bet .. we just love to try anything and everything lol. Why not it's our hobby and it gives us a buzz, plus we love it |

| What ever turns you on, The Piper Plays The Tune.
One pigeon, a thousand, good, bad or indifferent, nothing to do with anyone else.
If you get the amount of enjoyment relative to the effort put in, then you are a successful fancier, irrespective of anything else.
I preferred getting pigeons that had already bred winners or their brothers and sisters, rather than the young from the winners.
Takes time but I found it both interesting and rewarding not to mention the very interesting events involved.
Regards.

Mob flier is someone who sends a lot, sometimes the whole loft, just hoping to get a card, sometimes pays off if it's a bad race or smash. Someone who keeps and sends a lot of well prepared decent pigeons in good condition isn't a mob flier in my opinion. Wouldn't say you're a mob flier Ray. |

| No definitely a mob flyer but them that moan wouldn't want my bill each week believe me...I bet I spent 50 quid a week on average if not more on racing bill ..then more on corn ECT...I would be lucky to win a tenner but that's my choice ...so at the end of the day I lose out one way but win in another as I love it |

| peel bros, Would not worry about what anyone else thinks, while worrying about you they cannot be enjoying themselves.
If you keep and feed a number of pigeons, irrespective of the numbers, you would be foolish not to race them all, I think those who send a large number keep many clubs financially viable, and a fanciers disadvantaged by numbers, which is questionable , should be offset be having a less amount but being able to give individual attention to the pigeons etc;l
It is easier to keep a reasonable number of pigeons healthy than a large number, so there are disadvantages in keeping a large number.
But it boils down to a fanciers own preferences, all have choices, I know some have limited funds but you can have just as much fun fighting the odds as having them in your favour.
Just enjoy it whilst you can.
Regards.
