Fearless critters!

Went in to the YB loft today. 3 pm. Glass door. Some young like to lay there for the sun. 1 and half inch gap bottom of door to inside floor. Two dead young. One no head right inside door. Stood looking with door shut. Weasel poked its head uo throgh the gap and tried to drag a one out. Tried to step on it. Disapeared. 10 seconds later back again!! Still trying! Rat trap set. Weasel live trap set plus two others. Fearless little buggers! Caught one two years back. They do a lot of damage!

Ounce for ounce I think the most vicious little monsters, they even take rabbits many times their own size.
can run up brick walls, must admire their capabilities but they should use them in the wild not in pigeon lofts.

Remember a she cat of mine trying to get under a sledge. I just lifted it and was surprise to find a weasel. So was the cat for the weasel quickly quickly took hold of it's throat. Mind the cat was too strong and it let go and fled...

Not caught yet. Matter of time. 3 he had killed, not two. Oh well. These two and many others survived. Talking at the Club last night about starting years ago. With Gits. They had never heard of them. So took two pics of young birds.

I hope you get it sorted hal, and catch the weasel.......I don't relish killing anything but sometimes you have got to do it if your birds are at risk.

I take it that it was in the U.K. (Monkey hanging land) when you had the Gitts. I remember them. Along side of Guerny's, Sion and Barkers ETC. straight of the bat. that was in the late 50's.

The stop sign there controls all the traffic flow I suspect Misty .
