Goals this year

At the start of the season we all said what where our goals for the season ahead . Anyway have any of you achieved those goals ? . We ourselves have nearly done so by nearly beating our club wins which was 8 , so still 2 to win and getting a few fed wins but again we wanted 4 to 5 but got 2 . How have you done ?

done okay again, wanted to fly channel better with better fed result and done that, sprinting results have been good but never going to top fed regular with the drop here so just going to drift out of sprinting , nationals again struggled to get birds in good time but at least they improved which is all i wanted, happy enough just hope y/b get through without too much heartache

will add to the topic when the season is over but so far we are having our best season since we started up in 2010 we had a few years out due to wifes disability and little Alfie which set us back but happy to say we are finally getting somewhere but its hard work it don't come easy and nothing comes from a bottle , a few goals already reached so far this year but a few left and the most pleasing thing is we have done it with our own birds bred at home through davids stock he sent down to us ,some are from a kit he sent down in 2016 ,ybs have started well and we have crossed these 1234 first yb race 2345 2nd yb race ...and the parents have won or scored this season to so its looks well at present but 1 day is a long time in pigeons and things can soon change so yer always on yer toes

Looks like I am done for racing this year. Shoulder is healing up but going to be a while yet. So. Cannot drive. Can catch some birds. But not enough to train.
Options are to do a clean sweep. 12 old birds retained and yb,s trained whenever I can, if I can. Go for one lofters next year? Seems the way to go,. Club also if feasible. Crunch time is picking them out and getting rid of old favourites. End of month will do it.

Not a happy situation Hal.

Sadly at some time in life we have to make choices that do not rest easily on our shoulders.


Wish there was an easy way out but unfortunately there is not, as circumstances determine action.


Just hope your get over your health problems very soon and back to basics.

Used a weed whacker today and did much other stuff. Pain I can deal with. Arm seems to be getting better. Much more movement. Have to use it. Hoping ...
