What was your best achievement this year and goals for next year

Nows the time we sit a mull over this years events and achievements.
For me personally it's been a sh**e year and the birds never really had a look in.
Next year I'm hoping to get motivated and get stuck in and blow the cobwebs off.
Up to now everything seems to be going to plan and should have a team of early bred yb for the light and try out a new motivation system.

i had a good year racing having 14x1st winning all the averges in the club topping the gateshead fed twice 2000b and 2175b also topping me section two twice and some very good unc turns....wot to do next year get rid of the nagging wife....

mine was crap coz i cudnt be arssed and 2 meny personal problems so going to put a litle more time into the birds and also in a new fed now i belive with the club and im going for it

i think our best position was 19th combine out of 11000 plus birds,but a close second was when we where 67 th overall out of 34000 plus birds ,which was also 41st unc//....next season i want to be in the first 10 of the combine

will be my first season this year so looking forward 2 it with no expectations just hope i can see improvment from the first race 2 the final race and enjoy it

Rick, pigeon racing is all about progression, once your birds are fit and healthy, you will see them progress and improve all the time.
Seeing them come home is a result anything else is a bonus.
Like has been said enjoy of every minute of it.
that race day buzz, you cant beat it and the excitement of seeing the birds drop from the sky on race day, there's not a feeling like it in the world.

just to enjoy the birds but would love a top ten open position and a first OB win ,had a few 2nd and 3rds and a yb winner last year and will be able to put a bit more time in now the wee lad is here and is that little bit older ....good luck to all for next season and whatever your aims are just enjoy it because the exspectation of a good bird on race day is a buzz in itself not to be taken for granted atb

nothing better like gaz says seeing your bird drop from the heavens,when we topped the fed this year with our blue hen she was on her own by minutes that was a fantastic feeling,waiting for the minutes to tick by,it was even better getting the next one also.its like everything in life you have to work hard to achieve this,but with us we have pigeons a long time so we must get something out of the birds ,but again it does,nt stop us enjoying every single thing about pigeon racing

ditto, first back after lifetime off, if they come home i'll be pleased anything else i'll do cartwheels and then a visit to a physio

We were 1,2,3,4,5th club and 5,6,8,9th Fed our fed rule is only 4,birds allowed on land races and we won the youngbird averages and the youngbird of the year

also hope our number 1 cock can win more races he won 7 x 1st but hope he can add more

again thats fantastic results,i thought i done ok but thats top flying,so well done to you...i only got one fed win last season but like you our feds really hard,i think its one of the hardest feds in the unc to win
