| Put them together today. Choose their own mates. Some newspaper in the nest bowls. Few marijuana twigs, dried grass. 13 red cocks. 8 white hens plus reds. 1 blue pied hen. Other loft 5 pair, bc and bb.s. Going to get really cold so first eggs laid I will mark the box number on the eggs then put them in an egg carton. Bring in the house sit them on top of the fridge. 2 days later take them back. Should cut down on mortality. Reds and whites. Gonna be colourful young!

that's exactly what we do to david ,racers pick there own mates as to any breeders on last chance saloon all proven breeders are kept together and any experimental pairings are put together to ,makes life easier and some pairings surprise you |

| Think if you had a loft of healthy well bred pigeons and let them choose their mates you would have just as many good and bad ones as any other method.
The studs would breed all good ones otherwise.
