No one is going to get any monetary reward, so it is just a matter of what to do with what is available.

If we can get enough to pay for our four YB entries without going to auction I will contribute £100 towards entering our champ in the Yearling event.

If we can get enough some how to enter 4 etc David as in the past     I will quite happily add another 25 pounds to Misty generous donation as such  so 93 can just continue on racing there again next year as a yearling.

Hope so David wouldn't like to see it get lost there etc thou when moving from one side of the block to the other type of thing & besides I don't quite know how the young kids would feel from Alfie's class there, if & after everything falls into place as we both hope in the end, as my share as mentioned will be their total share come race day, under the name Pegasus 3  .

yes there is that knackered, our bird will be moved to a different loft, and also in my opinion it takes more ability to race old birds than ybs, anyone can race young birds ......

Same for all in the pot.

But I cannot from videos studied see what method is used.

Certainly paired up and nest pans, cocks and hens together but no eggs in sight.

Perhaps a request for information may settle the matter.

yes misty, would be interesting to know how they intend doing it .......i think they have done it a few years ago, maybe in the achieves ??

if we can get 4 ybs into the one loft on the back of the syndicate alone then i will put up £25 for 93 to ....the syndicate would only need another £75 to enter 4 ybs as wehave 15 x£25 + £50 and maybe another £30 already in the kitty from last yr so we could be at £455 already eh ...we may be able to scrape it

Good Evening

Since i updated last another 2 birds have worked in GB20 V09724 B/C Pied Cock & NEHU2020 DCF 397 B/C Hen.

Sunday or Monday moving activated YBS over to the Yearling loft then the rest of the week will be taking pictures of the birds going to auction.

Please if your not going into the Yearlings send in your breeding details to the Reddings team if you have not already done so.

I will update next Wednesday evening with the latest.

Well I was hoping to be in it again like I have previously but definitely losing one of my clients next week or the week after and down to 6 hours between us a week . Anyway whats the cut off point as I might just make it. Thanks

its closed ray as alot of people put extra money in to make it happen so to leave it open would have been unfair on those paying extra ...we had to pay earlier this year as we put the yearling back in thats why we wanted to know asap on the relevant topic we did tell everybody and the topic was up for well over 2 weeks as to who was in and who was out ,sorry to hear about yer work i also lost my part time work so know how you feel atb

Good Afternoon

Well its been very busy at the loft’s taking pictures of the birds going to auction etc.

We also have around 190 YBS in the yearling loft at present which this likely to rise with entrants buying from the YB auction and transferring them over to the Yearling loft.

Once everything is finalised and all the YBS moved over or have gone to new homes i will do a few videos of them in the Yearling loft.

Everything looks very well and are in a heavy moult now the lights have gone off.

Some excellent birds coming up for Auction starting on the 22nd of this month.

Will update when anything interesting comes up.

YOUNG BIRDS 2020 AUCTION

The auction of RPRA One Loft Race 2020 Young Birds opens on the RPRA auction website on Thursday, 22nd October (4.00pm), and will run until Sunday 1st November along with 70 lots from One Loft Manager Jeremy Davies’ own stock.

The list of One Loft birds for auction can be downloaded here, the order having been decided by their finishing places in the Ace Pigeon competition. Jeremy’s list can be downloaded here. (Please note that lots do not appear on the site until the auction goes live.)

There are limited places remaining in the RPRA One Loft 2021 Yearlings Race for winning bidders to enter their birds.

You will need to register on the auction site to be able to bid online – just follow the detailed instructions on the site home page. By registering/bidding you agree to accept and abide by the Auction Rules.

why is the loft manager auctioning his own birds through the rpra talk about a premium platform to sell yer birds eh i can only think its because he is using the space to race the yearling event so given the green light to sale on there one loft auction page ,that would only be fair i guess eh i know someone who races in the same club as him ,i doubt he will have much time for racing next year eh with a yearling and yb races to sort out

I think David, on my personal scale, that any and every system is easy if one resorts and allows the pigeons to do what is natural.
We, many, make it hard for one's self. Very often trying to follow what so and so said he does... often a lot is missing.

Youngster I believe should have a open hole. Hopper fed. they will fly with zest and relish. Their' roaming provides all and any heightening- if need be, which I very much doubt personally -- they will need.
If they endorse and obtain a love of home, A contentment and loving to be there, then they covers everything.

A circle is over a quarter of a mile at least! YET! they are sent up the road! Then the myth of 'Breaking Points'!
Let me say to all, if so, then when the wind is opposite what they would like, do they first force their way to that 'Breaking Point'? Of course not, and any fancier would be peeved to think their' bird does so, would do so.
#A good one always comes from ... that direction' is often stated, and will much truth. Because the wind was right for them.

Entries will be taken on a first-come first-served basis with signed application forms, and will be limited to five places per entry until the 4th January 2021.

Forget next years race etc I would just like to know who in the end actually payed what for what, with this years race     & what the final overall figure for the auction finished up at as such.

When one followed the auction David for an interest factor & saw what names were bidding on what there on a regular type basis like I did I'm it all went a bit flat sadly in the end from my perspective here. Now as example, who can tell me what actual prices did the top 10 birds there make by the end of it all & which one won the battle in the end for the top price    .

Fingers crossed I have mine delivered hope i can get it by thursday 3rd december

Yes Don I have the bhw I have set a reminder on my phone for the 3rd and will fill the form out on Thursday night as the book comes out on that day or will print the form off at work and post it Friday lunch time with the full payment of £500 for the 4 birds so hopefully everything will be ok
