UK Bird Flu Empty
PostSubject: UK Bird Flu   UK Bird Flu EmptySat Dec 05, 2020 4:53 pm

Just seen on BBC NEWS Flash on my phone.
All captive birds in the UK are to be kept indoors from December 14th due to a bird flu outbreak to prevent the spread to uk wild birds.
Has anyone heard if that includes pigeons.
It didn’t mention pigeons in the article.

I’ve just read the article again and it only says about pigeons bred for meat are included.
I don’t understand the logic there.

As far as I can find out boosey all birds irrespective of what kind  must be confined from December 11th 2020.

But do not know if this has been changed.

Cannot believe our pigeons will not be included, would not make any sense.

Regards.

If your somewhat concerned & worried there etc Boosey Smile Smile on the issue. For your own peace of mind, maybe just contact the government body in charge of the whole issue for clarification, would be my suggestion Smile Smile. cheers
