| Hi all, new to the sport, this will be my first season. I have managed to get an old T3 junior clock but can't find an instruction manual anywhere. Is someone able to help me or send me a link? Cheers |

| you wont be able to do that yourself,it needs to be done by your clubs designated clock setter he will 3 way test it for you ,however they are easy to set i used to do them for my club and the stb clocks ...love the old stb i have one in the shed as a garden clock atb |

Welcome to the site Jason what you are best doing is taking it to your club clock setter and getting him to explain how it works and how you can use it |

| I have found a manual. For some reason the date on the clock is 5/4/24..... i can't change it to 21. It won't give me an option to do so. Any tips? |

leave it be mate ,clocksetter will sort all that for you, year is not important neither is date really ...time is what matters ,dont meddle with the security screws either else the clock will be a bin job atb |

haha it's a tough game to break into, can be intimidating when really it shouldn't be... it's pigeon racing for christ sake haha Would be very suprized if there were not several fanciers in your area who would gladly help you in any way possible. Anyone in our area wanting to set up would be well challenged as to whose generosity to accept. However, beware of those who make matters as hard as possible, and changed it from a sport into a business. Regards. |

| i can honestly say, ive never had much to do with local fanciers or members in the club........ive not found any who were as you describe , none who were really helpful, but im not that way my self, and maybe its just how they are too . just because we share the same hobby, it doesnt mean we are the best of pals ... |

| generally i found pigeon men to be a strange brew ,not all that social and most very competitive and not wanting to help but theres a few good guys out there ,to be honest the older fanciers who i met at the outset were the best but have sadly now passed on ,modern day fanciers ....well they seem a different breed tbh ,one guy our club secretary was a good guy and guess that the only other fancier i bother with locally ,they are out there but few and far between it would seem |

just because we share the same hobby, it doesnt mean we are the best of pals ... Had some very good friends within the sport, run club affairs with some, visited studs, judged shows with them and had some good times, but never actually socialised with any outside of the sport. Could not tell you what they were interested in outside the sport. My interests were ballroom dancing, fishing, snooker, in addition to my lifelong participation in our sport, along with my four legged friends and other animals. Never liked alchohol, never touched it, nor drugs, seen too many results in doing so. Have countless friends in the persuits I follow and who mainly have the same outlook on life as I do. My wife never off the phone talking to friends far and wide, hoping to meet up soon. All donations towards the phone bill would be greatly appreciated. Regards. |
