| might as well let them go in the middle of the M1, how this fella looses pigeons like he does is un believable ............it`ll be a good pigeon that makes it throught to the final and wins it , or rather a very lucky pigeons, or both . |

| i guess some would be weeded out as even sending what you think is the best you have will see disappointment many pick out a fav yb to be gone off the loft or in training ,but the numbers do seem a high percentage ...most will be down to health ,its imperative to send ybs with sound constitution ...they can have winners galore on pedigree but if they cant handle the cocktail of ailments at a one loft then they will perish ...fingers crossed we can get to the final again theres one of ours i really liked and thought alot of ,its still there fingers crossed eh ,i sent daz the ring no. i wont mention it as dont want to jinx the poor bird |

| As I have said many times over the past few years, if the young birds were just given the jab to comply with the Rules and nothing more, you would be lucky to end up with half a dozen before the final proposed race.
Not the best fanciers fault but those who medicate as routine, and whose birds have no immune system at all.
The fanciers birds that were naturally healthy would be ruined by association.
Would be very interesting to learn exactly what treatments the birds receive.
Regards. |
