| we`ve had a private topic on the forum for years, it was used when members wanted to talk about hawks, bops and the rpra`s efforts to save our pigeons from attacks etc .........now with our forum syndicate entering into the rpra one loft, and most of us posting on open forum for all to see, that we are not very happy with how things are going, i think its best we say these things in private, as we never know who is spying and reporting back to the rpra / one loft, which could effect our birds .
i have re named the hawk talk group to rpra one loft talk, which is private so no one apart from those in the group can read it ......ill try add all the members who are in the syndicate, but if i miss you out please let me know.
if members can try post into this private group that would be helpful, but if they forget i can move it over for them if i see it .
the private group is 4th down under the chat |

| Think you are right regarding some looking in on a regular basis to see what we are saying and maybe not for any good reason.
Would be dreadful to think anyone would take exception to opinions by back door means but when the top brass can lie and decieve on a regular basis ?????.
Regards. |

| I was involved in a syndicate that got great ideas regards the hawk problems. Thoughts gather from many angles. Many well-known and names in the pigeon world became interested and were willing to be a part of. Even breeding places of security regards Eagle owls etc. Fanciers to be watching out for the RSPB MURDER SQUAD that went out and murdered/culled eagle Owls—classed as a 'Resident Bird'.
We had many ideas, like Feds collecting 2p on every bird sent paid to the concern—likewise, club membership to be just £10 per year! The cost of a Professional The 'Think tank'. was well within our budget.- Which, once, the RPRA put feelers out 20 years ago to get the view of the fanciers.
Whose response was 'Let like Brian Lane / Dave Allen and such pay for it, and let their office worker do all the mailing/typing! They have time!
Of course, the first two years had to be incognito to ensure no RSPB syndicate put dead birds in Committee's dust bins and other nasty, horrid dastardly tricks.
The 'Think Tank' would be our voice in all publicity and queries to the public. Plus much more. No fancier was to be a member if not desiring to do so. Plus much more!
Now you may recall the dribble and onslaught this received and from who! You've guessed it! Yes! the pigeon fraternity ranting and raving for the RPRA to stop it going ahead. Saying, 'Best to leave the RSPB tribe alone or they'd get nasty regards our birds - excuses, fear? Rubbish!
They unbelievably, were also demanding that any, and every committee member be named and voted in by the members. This before the quango got up and running. Demanding the names made public of those setting up this agenda1
Well, the idiots couldn't/would not conceive that all concerns start as a quango—a body on person forming the club/concern till up and running.
This is just the tip of a mountain of utter tripe via so-call pigeon lovers!
So no names did, or would ever be made public, for obvious reasons. |

| dont be disappointed knackered, im always anti establishment , but like darren said, us being outspoken could effect our birds, and as misty pointed out, all these guests looking in could be someone who would report back to those running it . our birds and our members are more important than those running the one loft or the rpra, we need to watch our backs in any way we can . |

| By he way, the main reason the Think Tank and help in regards of B.O.P. Was simply because of the letter and whinging to put a stop to it happening BY the pigeon fanciers themselves. P.s. By the way, many 'Fancy' fanciers like Tipplers / rollers etc. were also on board. |

| As I said when the Raptor Alliance was first put forward.
You first find out where you stand legally.
You then persue along those lines.
If you get no joy you try all avenues open to you, legal or otherwise.
We still have no idea if we could legally kill a raptor on our own land found killing our pigeons, but the First Protocol of the Human Rights suggests we have, and I provided the information for the then General Manager, before a penny was spent by the Alliance.
To date thousands of pounds have been wasted with not one iota of benifit to the sport.
Action should have been considered when fanciers in Scotland started suffering losses and warned us.
The best way would be to get a few old dears interested by showing numerous song birds etc; being eaten alive, as graphic as possible and get them to levy MPs and Parliament, when a couple of the Woke Brigade do it for their dubious ends ??????.
Our representatives are useless and have been for the past 50 odd years.

| Good to keep repeating the manner our sprt has been ruined by selfish individuals with no respect for anything other than themselves.
The HALL REPORT cost over £10,000 said many things I had said years before, including no one should serve on the Council for more than 4 years.
Voting should be by individual voting.
It is simlicity it's self. Clubs send in the results of individual club voting and the Region amalgamates them and send them to Council, instead of a 5 member club out voting a 60 member club etc;
Did not suit Regions they wanted to manumulate to suit themselves.
Too many ( to put it mildly) creepers willing to let anything go, too much apathy.
Know for certain the very top were and some still are not fit to be in any sport.
They know who they are and I hope their pals show tham this, the ignoramouses.
Regards.

| Well either way if it was me let them look in we have nothing to hide and its them who are losing out by staying on the outside and not joining us and enjoying the pigeon banter we all have between ourselves. |

| Would not worry me who was on as long as we knew who they are.
Anything I say I can back up and feel everyone is entitled to an opinion even if it is directly opposite to your own.
Do not like people who hide their identity.
It would be a dull old world if we all agreed on everything.
But as things are think David maybe has the right idea.
