After all the wet and windy weather we've had do you need to make some repairs to your birds' housing? It's really important that you check for damage as any holes could let in water as well as wild birds, rats and mice, all of which could introduce bird flu to your birds.
Check for blocked drainage caused by the storm, and cleanse and disinfect any hard standings that may have been exposed to flood water using a government approved disinfectant.
Wild birds may have moved to different areas to avoid adverse weather.  To protect your poultry and other captive birds, make your entire premises unattractive to wild birds. Use bird scarers, foils or streamers.

I was in York yesterday, they're having a tough time, massive area under water.

true misty, i used to travel to york 2 - 3 times a week years ago, and the river and surrounding fields were regularly flooded, well known for it .

Just maybe like wet feet etc Misty That being said. Huge type rain fall figures here also, up north of the border at the moment 15 to 20 inches in 24 hours in certain places Crocodiles coming in the front door there in parts, looking for a bed for the night etc along with snakes, the size most here have never seen looking for the same bed space for a rest .

went over to my old lofts the other day, theres a stream that runs along the bottom of my garden which has a bridge over it which i have to cross .........only 5 - 6 inch of water over the bridge i had to wade through, good job i had my wellies on

Any fish around there etc David Water up to the roof here in parts up north & crocodiles are becoming very friendly looking for a feed apparently. One place just broke a record of rain here, that has stood there since the 1890 era. End of the day     maybe no more blaming Trump now I suggest, for every thing       will just let your mate Putin carry the can now to occupy his mind for the relaxation factor    .

Sad fact Knackered, weather and everything has gone beyond recall, all nations are having problems never previously encountered all at the same time.

Earthquakes, floods, fires, diseases, famine, volcanoes erupting, wars in many parts of the world, etc; etc;.

Not to mention an unstable Putin with enough nuclear weapons to blow the earth up several times over.

It is inivitable that Putin will not stop until he is deposed or killed he is not a young person and has little to lose.

Just waiting for Israel to become involved in some way.

Learned Roman Abramovich (Chelsea) is Jewish.

He has attempted to broker a solution to the present situation.

I bet 90% of the Russian population are against Putins antics but are kept under marshall law, any discent treated as treason.


Why someone has not shot the idiot Putin I know not.

If the idiots think they can fire nuclear weapons without suffering the consequences of receiving the same, they must be mental, and those that survived would not be very pleased.

They are citizens of those countries David but never the less Jews.

Faith is a different matter, Christian., Mormon etc;

I honestly don't give a rats **** here     about what's under discussion etc. Every house in my street here, could be filled by those from different countries from where ever & it wouldn't worry me or my Joyce     the least, as long as they abide by our common law of respect & decency to all & everyone around them as such. That being said thou if Putin somehow or that little fat bloke from North Korea, just turned up & bought a house local I may just change my mind I suspect Now     those here wondering     the reason why I didn't mention than man from China, Putin's mate     reason is his clone of sorts has already arrived & living right next door now     & I have them both in a re education plan now of how to survive the local wild life issue hopefully with a bit of luck & also use a barbecue    .

Personally met numerous people from all walks of life and different countries during my army days also work wise.

Never came across any that were at face value evil etc; just with differing views.

There are good, bad, indifferent and plain evil in every society on earth I take people as I find them and most are just ordinary people wanting to have a normal and happy life.

Tis the others the problem.
