| kids just want latest phone and theyre happy these days. no way would they dedicate time to pigeons. When we stared it all revolved around allotments, as kids nearly all of us had something as pets or interests on the gardens, new houses stand on the allotments now. Same as greyhounds, 40 years ago you'd always see folk walking a group of dogs round here, morning noon and night, there's 200 houses built on the dog track now. Sadly thing we're the last die-hards. Before long your fed will be the club with 10 members if lucky, blokes in their 90's loading the transporter, hope I'm one of them anyway |

Before long your fed will be the club with 10 members if lucky, blokes in their 90's loading the transporter, hope I'm one of them anyway It must be a nightmare to attempt to be a good parent today. You cannot have 24 hours a day control and there are increasing attempts by different fractions to lead then astray. The number of offences from drug dealing to murder involving children is alarming and I cannot see how our legal system can deal with it. As for sport and children, along with keeping numerous different animals and birds as kids we used to play football with a tennis ball in the street and use gate ways as goals, a lump of wood as a bat and a dust bin as stumps for cricket etc. Had pigeons myself from around 6 years old and had first race at 13 as a junior. They were and always have been along with several unforgetable four legged friends my best friends, demanding nothing and giving everything. You cannot blame the kids of today it is society as whole that has lost all moral standards beyond recall. SHAME. Regards |

| to many freaks and weirdos about these days for kids to have a free reign ,when we were kids we were out from dawn to dusk building dens and tree houses and hanging out in woods or fields playing.ok there were still odd bods about but not on the scale of today and besides back then it was not frowned upon to be normal |

| Talking of social media, watched Pierce Morgan inteview Trump last night, a glimmer of hope that the WOKE idiots will be exposed as the most dangerous lot of louts to free speach and the right to different opinions.
