Royal Pigeon Racing Association

Updated guidance to all organisations/members: as a mark of respect for our late Queen and Patron, no race marking or racing should take place on Sunday 18th September or Monday 19th September. Racing may go ahead on Saturday 17th September, but if there are any issues with the weather, organisations should be prepared to mark and race earlier than the 17th, or postpone until the 21st September at the earliest.

RPRA President

although i do respect what the queen stood for, and the figurehead she was for the uk, i do resent the rpra telling members what they should and shouldnt do ......doesnt sit right with me

Yes David, do not know what the Queen would have wanted.

Agree her long and unselfish duty to the Country and Commonwealth deserve recognition but in what form is appropriate is debatable, relartive to her funeral etc;.

Tis a situation that can be looked at from many different angles.

For me I am glad I lived in the times I have including the long reign of the Queen.

Regards.
