| Cannot understand fanciers training.
Things appear to change day by day.
When you think about all the possible problems even were racing to be allowed there would still be many things to make doing so difficult.
Just a real mess all way round.

| as you all know i havnt raced at all for a number of years, im happy to keep and breed the ones i have ......but some fanciers are behaving like big babies, moaning about racing or not racing, and if we are going to race this season.
personally peoples lives are more important than pigeon racing, if they have to miss a season, so what ..........its not the end of the world.
there are over 28,000 people died in the uk, and counting .........and all some are bothered about is if they will be able to race their pigeons .
i already knew there were a lot of idiots involved with pigeons, but this takes things to another level...... |

| Totally agree with you David, peoples lives are more important than racing pigeons
The biggest problem is theirs one rule for the sensible and another team for idiots
and its the idiots that mess it up for the sensible one
There should have been a complete lock down 12 weeks to make things work out i'm on my 8th week now |

| I think what some people fail to realise is that fanciers themselves are not immune to the virus.
Many are in the very at risk bracket.
The latter would be irresponsible, if not stupid, to take any unnecessary risks.
I think the RPRA should have made a decision based on the worst scenario and fanciers would then know where they stand.
What happens if racing is allowed and then matters arise to stop it again?.

| If you actually sit back and just consider the facts with no personal preferences involved they add up to forgetting racing this year and hope that matters are more normal for next season, the latter by no means certain.
Say they say racing and training can begin.
How many fanciers in each club could be involved?.
If not all, then it makes a mockery of any results.
It would be impossible to carry out all that is necessary to race and keep within current obligations. (or sensible ones).
Think the best way at the moment is for the younger fanciers to think about the older fanciers in the greater risk bracket, they are very important in the short term for the future of the sport.
But then, there is no explanation for how some humans look at matters.
Regards.
