Not a lot to be happy about George. Could not sleep last night thinking of the poor lady who is missing and probably fell into the river looking for a ball. Sad. Regards.. |

| Busy day today sorting plastic rings on some old birds . Rewriting my book as some pairs changed due to awkward hens but sorted now . Tidied thr garden a little bit and sorted my sisters caravan command system. Even done my own dinner with jayne being at work all day . That was the hardest part . Microwave Chinese meal haha |

Just hope everything goes well with all the hard work you put in and no problem with the racing programme. Horrible situation all round when nothing is certain. One can only do one's best but the real problems are out of fanciers hands. But waiting to see what emerges from the shells is worth a fortune. Good luck. Regards. |

| Hopefully racing goes ahead or all the hard work has been wasted ..not sure what will happen with 100 ybs and 100 old birds ready for racing this year . It will be devastating it really will |

| this is why im uneasy about breeding young birds, if i breed a load and theres no racing / no one buying them im stuck with them........on the other hand if i dont breed many then racing goes ahead ive lost out there. |

| Never known a situation anything like the present one.
If things go wrong it will be every fancier and every aspect of the sport affected.
The studs, the suppliers of miracle aids to win and cures, preventatives etc;
I wonder if the continentals are having the same problems.
The latest suggestion that the virus can spread to animals is disheartening and who knows what implications that will involve.
Best bet just hope and pray that matters can be dealt with to allow racing to take place or I can see no reason why not when no pigeon as far as I am aware has ever had it or passed it on without showing any signs.
Just wish I had a magic wand.
Heartbreaking.
Regards. |

| Would not bet on it.
Surely the ring number will be a clue.
Although I tend to agree with David regarding one is before the molt and one after there are slight discrepancies regarding the white elements.
Would not be concerned either way, looks a decent pigeon.
