Good to have friends George who are not money mad.
The other item refers to 2007, wonder how matters stand now with that organisation today.
First had pigeons 80 odd years ago, first raced at 16 in partnership.
Had as much fun before racing them, gang of us kids all had pigeons and we used to send a basket of pigeons on the bus each putting 2 or 3 in each and have our own races from 7 miles.
Took it in turn to go on the bus.
From them days of pure enjoyment the sport has progressively gone commercial and once that happens Bingo.
Over the years seen the advantage takers ruin the sport.
You can pick them out today selling everything but their soul to make a fast buck
Regards.

Found in the main the ordinary fanciers helped each other and new starters in particular if changing from showing to racing.
Actually, the same today, amongst the grass root fanciers.
The professionals swap between each other and sell to their cast offs at the highest prices they think they can get, the ruination of our sport amongst other things.
