| become friends with Jim Smith he gifted me the hen rather than put her in the auction to help me get a more olr type of bird due to a serious illnes he is not able to keep birds so buys birds from different fanciers to enter in many olr' |

| Like the look George in particular the one feather tail, something I always liked to see in my own pigeons.
But do not get too many George,

| yes i like that too misty, one feather tail..........it maybe makes no difference to them flying as they probably only use it as a rudder when landing ??
but i still prefer a racing pigeon with that type of tail rather than a big fan type seen on the fantails . |

Think they use the tail to change direction whilst flying David, think if it folds into one feather width it shows it is fully functional

Always liked a medium sized pigeon myself David that is balanced and sits well in the hand know within a second if I like it. But old enough to know the winners come in every possible guise. Fads are part and parcel if our sport. Makes life interesting and often very expensive. Regards. |

| Could not have a better offer George.
You can be sure of the history where in other cases of offers they could tell you anything.
Be nice to see a photograph George.
Regards. |

| 4th open perth classic and 9th amalgamation (yearling)as we raced with the derby fed we were flying an extra 100 miles than them ,also scored in other races he was 2nd ripon 200 miles as a yb he has about 8 cards and won me plenty of pool money and bred 3rd ace yb rpra one loft ,also bred a 3rd open as a yb for another fancier ...i never bred much from him as i stopped racing in 2020 when he was a yearling so his ybs have done well considering he only had 2 nests eh and was then sold to a fancier who lived in pembroke and was released when he passed away and returned on his own the fancier had other birds but this cock was the only one to return ,i know this because when he came home i phoned and him and his wife told me she let all his birds out when he passed. |
