| the most important ingredient for a good one loft is the manager and a good team/loft hands ,if he/they are not dedicated then its game over before it begins and thats not to say with a decent team/manager that things are straight forward as there will always be challenges with yb racing |

| Funny thig is, nearly every OL suffers the same number of losses, so there must be a common denominator involved and probably a health one/

Regards. my thoughts exactly, only the hardiest/sound constitution birds prevail and thats why one loft birds that do well breed there like and all these highly inbred families fall by the wayside,a first cross off 2 sounds pigeons is the way to go in my view but then you have the training/racing to get through and the management regime but its a good starting point ,when you look at the velocities the birds are merely homing in general anyway |

| just been reading a topic on the internet , someone asking their thoughts on one loft racing ........needless to say there were most of the replies not very happy with them, some even saying its a money making scam, or that they should be banned . |

| Varying views then David but bet none in favour of the present set ups.
Too wide open to numerous possible mal practices.
No actual regulations nor accountability.
Idea good, but no way of ensuring everything above board.
On a similar matter.
Just been having a look on the indipendant auctions.
Several offering 2024 kits of young ones.
One offering same says he pairs up in the first week of November.
He must ring them in 2023.
Would be able to fly from Rome by January the first 2024.
Regards. . |

| i wonder what the true reason is that one lofts have gone down hill over the last few years, possibilities as we all know could be any number of things such as illness, bad management, bops or simply luck ...but surely it cant be down to just this suddenly happening as in the beginning one lofts were very good , why suddenly now ...? |

Thing is David it is world wide not just here. So something is not as it was. Wonder if the wild birds are being affected ?. But then the whole world has gone mad. Regards. |
