YB Sickness Cure ?

seen this earlier, is by a fancier called brian may , and is a treatment for young bird sickness .

Think this could be the Brian May who wrote the first small book on eye sign.

Most medications are derived from plant life and if there was a simple solution to young bird sickness the commercial boys would be on it by now.

The old time fanciers used numerous different plant life including elderberries,
there properties have been well known for years.

Funny thing, well not funny, but interesting, they had none of the present health problems, was when the commercial boys started interfering with matters that things went wrong.

Young bird sickness will not be the only problem that arises you cannot interfere with nature without problems, in every aspect of our sport.

Be rather surprised somewhat if he is Misty Eye sign theory books being around so long now etc. Maybe a son maybe or even perhaps a grandson simply, perhaps carrying on a family tradition type thing, maybe.
Now one of my greatest failures in life down here (total disaster)       in a pigeon sense, has been my tragic pursuit in growing elderberries as such. Total failure I'm  unfortunately. Just been harvesting the flowers here as I do every year & have done so now for 20 odd years but the general heat factor down here somehow (start of summer) destroys my berries every year sadly for some reason & I'm just always left unfortunately with using the flowers in a tea as such as part compensation for my continued loss of the berries as such.

Looked him up Knackered, still around, says Mr Eye sign.

Maybe sixty years since the late Albert Witty got the book which I had and witch May wrote.

Can still remember it, but things have advanced since then.

He was obsessed at that time with the black circle round the pupil, can visualise the photos in the book now, of course he and the theory have changed somewhat.

so with my general logic thinking here. That could perhaps mean Misty maybe, He become a master on Eye sign as such etc around the age of 12 years, apparently if he somehow wrote his masterpiece on eyes around 13 type thing etc & around 60 years ago. Now my 2nd point of contention surely we don't have another one out there somewhere spreading the gospel in a pigeon eye sign sense as I thought we only had one Mr Eye Sign, back when & his name was Fleming so to speak & he has been dead now for a good 10 to 15 years by my recollection down here     & he was in his own way a typical con man type of a certain stature from my perspective here in a pigeon sense when one then considers his claim to fame by his own words out of his own mouth     was that he won     in 67 years of pigeon involvement, back when      67 races apparently   & if you also then gave him a dollar coin       he would tell you what you would maybe like to hear in a pigeon eye sign type sense to then I suggest/suspect perhaps then maybe take another dollar out of your pocket       & so on. End of the day     the likes of Fleming so to speak     & his soul mate     sparring partner, Myron had a great love affair of sorts I'm in total confusion I found when talking eye sign matters, if one was simply attempting somehow to perhaps make/find some logic/sense to it all.

My lack of knowledge of how to work this machine for some time left me just
using it for the pigeons and Quara.

Then I  found out you could ask the thing anything and it would answer in seconds.

Frightening.

Asked it all sorts and the answer came up immediately.

Asked about eye sign and a Brian May.

Came back and bottom item said book by Brian May on eye sign, press the item and up comes a book by Vickers.

Ask the machine and it says Brian May did not write a book on eye sign.

There is no doubt the book more like a pamphlet Albert gave me was by Brian May can still see the eyes in it, all in black and white, no colours involved.

Wish I had kept it.

What worries me is the ease with which children or those with ulterior motives can obtain information on anything, good, bad, or indifferent.

Long ago decided if the pigeon has two that work in conjunction with rest of the body BINGO but never the less interesting.

it might have gotten confused by the name brian may misty, there is a brian may who was the guitarist in the group queen a few years ago, i doubt he ever wrote a book on pigeon eye sign .......

Now where talking on the same wave length etc Misty Bishop being the man of the day, back when by what I remember. Published one or more of your main pigeon magazines there for what I recollect & was a mega rich type of bloke with a great love of pigeon's type thing & especially eyes. Believe it or not but here I still have a picture in my head of his new palace of a loft as such, back when. Smallish type set up     for the day one could perhaps say being 100 odd feet long on flat land (which made me rather jealous, somewhat) & the stand out point for my memory bank at the time (other than his large plot of land) were the black & white chequered type vinyl floor tiles from one end to the other there in his loft on the floor, which were of a higher class standard than most people of the time would have had in their houses then I somehow suspect.
