Yes I think a lot of fanciers clawing back recent investments, birds are dropping vastly in price back to @ £30 in many cases.

Won't be able to give them away soon, fanciers are making do with what they have already, trying 2 or 3 extra rounds off the best ones to make up the team rather than buying in year on year.
Blackpool will be interesting next year, I think birds priced up in the pens will struggle, but the auctions well who knows??

Know not if the man was a legend or not down here etc but one I would have certainly really loved to have a long chat with being similar minded a such. In the end a bit of a rare breed type I somehow suspect all things considered especially when reading, he had apparently bequeathed the money raised from his birds in the end with his auction, to your RPRA establishment there & its member base it appears.
