| I think it's the best way George, breed and race on performance, not what some distant ancestor did generations ago ....too many advertised on the strength of distant ancestors . |

| If I was to start up again it would be with 24 well bred youngsters from Massarella.
All would be tried hard on the road and the best kept to form my own family with no introductions for several years, those retained for stock would fly out with the racers, no prisoners.
Vertualy what I did second time round.
Worked for me.
First time round bought top class stock birds or close relatives, it worked but hard work compaired to the latter.
Regards.

| In the 1980's we bought young birds from masserellas misty, we raced them all ending up with the best of them, they did pretty well for us too .......
Families we bought were van hee which were dark bronze chequers, lefebre dahaens , verheys and deny brothers birds, all raced well for us . |

| If I ever race again, I'll pair best to best on how they perform racing, if I manage to win any 1st prizes I will pair winner to winner .... |

| Cannot see any with a bid on them.
Wrong time of the year.
Think the fancier will have to have a bigger loft.
