is it true the £2 insurance  fee has  been scraped and replaced with a membership fee of £35 for this season

not read anything george, so what was £10-£12 to be an rpra member gone up to £35 ...?

thats ok if we were getting things run right, but they keep losing money dont they ...?

had a email it's for this year local council member voted against it
so now up from £17 to £35

double bubble there having a laugh,thing is the membership has drastically dropped so no need for offices etc...and all the bull-$h1T jobs like public relations officer,one loft liasion officer who knows feck all about the one loft all these muppets getting a cushty number and salary out of pigeon fanciers eh,other organisations dont need all these hangers on and seem to function just nicely,no need for cars and nights out in hotels etc...and offices ,talking of offices where is all the money from the old office sale gone to

were did you read this David as i said i was told by a councilor who voted against the increase he told  me it's now £35 a member this year rule 37 says they can't change the fee this year at the meeting it was said under rule 142 they could

i think it was on pigeon chat group on facebook george , they said it will come into force for the 2025 season .

some saying in comments they cant because most have already paid and they cant change the membership costs because most clubs have had their AGM and now they cannot resign if they dont agree with the membership increase .

looks like a lot of confusion and a lot of anger over it ......

councilor i know said that but was overrule by rule is it 142

yes i think it is george, i remember reading something like that .... personally i dont think its right, once the AGM is over members cannot resign , so if this goes ahead i reckon there will be a lot of angry members,

councilor Ray Harris who voted against this increase tells me his phone has not stopped ringing all day

big discussion about it on facebook group george, alsorts of opinions .............. personally i think they have been very sly about it bringing in this increase because all clubs have had their AGM and its too late now for those members not in agreement with it to resign .

yes we are partners he is 16 it's £40 this year now up £18

they say rpra wages are £400,000 per year ........

yes me too george, this was something misty felt strongly about and would have had plenty to say about it ......

just read there is to be another meeting to clarify things, too many versions of whats going on they say .... nothing set in stone yet they say

no official statement on the rpra website yet re the price increase ......
