that's because your club has not paid the£2 insurance

i think ill be either racing next year or resigning and joining the NWHU to get my rings ....... the rpra is not fit for purpose .

30 p your saying George your breaking my heart here to a certain degree etc for normal folk down here. I'm just glad 1 to a 100 or even a 1000, matters little here in my club all, those bits & pieces are payed for by my club from our sponsors who support my club in an extraordinary fashion all things considered. End of the day here sponsor money here, just payed recently for a 1000 bird type training unit apparently to train in for the members. Around 4000 dollars, odd apparently. Just so someone can clean up sh*te type thing here now on training day as such .

i think for what i actually need to the rpra for its not worth paying out £125 a year for , would be cheaper for me to just join the NWHU for my rings .

plus, who knows, the rpra might put it up again next year .

 just think of it as charity now David a generous donation, somewhat for a good cause type thing to perhaps maybe help them from a Titanic moment as such there.

NWHU does seem the best option for anyone not racing.
From an outsider looking in, could be those doing ok out of the RPRA are now getting on in years, couldn't care less if it goes under? Maybe a good few of them don't even have pigeons any more? But still have a nice time with trips away, overnight stays and generous expenses claims.
Needs a restructure, it's inevitable or it will go under.

ive had a quick glance at the report george, and plan on reading it all when i get time ......the report cost 11-12 thousand im led to believe .

So what are you maybe suggesting etc David certain folk there at the time were dumb in nature, to the extreme perhaps. End of the day may have taken 8 years but the Hall report it appears has now hit the most read list perhaps in a pigeon type sense I suggest.

Not really George have no say in it type thing here, I'm Brain now is dysfunctional to the extreme & so my fingers just run rampant & totally out of control for the most part    .

i just cannot see what the rpra member gets for his £35 apart from getting your birds reported when lost........ clubs/feds do all the rest, its like a big gang extorting money from people .

if you don't race David no point in you being in a club or rpra

yes thats right george, im only a member of the rpra to get my rings..... and by what ive read i can become a member of another organisation to get them , which will be cheaper than paying £35.

nwhu £5 and think some free rings new owner can then transfer them to rpra 30p a ring
