| i need to start reducing mine now, got far too many ........ i did however notice an old cock today whose foot was swollen, and the ring was tight digging into his leg ..... must have been like this and getting worse for a while without me noticing it, anyway i took the decision to cut the ring off other than that it could have died or lost its foot in agony .
seems a lot happier now , hopefully it will make a full recovery . |

| he seems happier in himself george, but the damage is done i think, so making a full recovery is out of the question i think........ but as long as he gets about and has some quality of life he is safe here. |
