had to fit 2 door handles to drag it along the ground and lift it onto the gravel board

its surprising how we struggle on and get jobs done on our own eh george, where theres a will theres a way they say ........

David as the first race my birds were in was very slow fed winner on 952 do you think one of the reasons was the birds did not clear i don't buy that can't see all the birds not clearing

yes george i have found that the first yb races can be slow as they dont clear immediately like older birds,its all a learning curve and totally different to training on your own for the birds ,remember they been basketed overnight and also the birdage....not like in the basket and liberated a few hours later when you train at home ,also you will have chancers puting birds in the race un-trained also birds not fit to race ,it all helps to hold them back from clearing.i used to basket mine overnight and train the next morning ,at least they were there george and first hurdle has been jumped eh.

how did your race go colin not ideal having a holdover for ybs eh

Good first race Darren with 100% returns for me and a lot of the other senders, came really well from 86 miles and trapped pretty good too.

good morning to you all,hi ray hope yer keeping well....good luck to those racing today its cloudy here with a west wind (for those racing )me and alf are off 10 pin bowling shortly and tomorrow alf has a 6 a-side tournament ...a football academy got in touch and want him for trials on monday evening they approached me at his last tournament 2 weeks ago these things seldom come to anything but we will give it a go its a semi pro club that holds a academy night every week ...all a bit sketchy until i get there and have a word on monday

Hopefully ok now . Its been a hard few months but again Hopefully I.m back haha

have a fourth bird which got a fault with the vent she is now ok and laid this week so she should be ok in few weeks
