I've never known a year like this for garden and grass: up till about a month ago the grass wasn't a problem maybe cut every 8-10 days and seemed to be standing still, yet now you can almost see it growing, suddenly it needs cutting twice a week. Anything in the pots and planters has either died off or looking on it's last legs which in past years has flowered and lasted into September. Bizarre.

weve been watering them with the hose pipe colin, we didnt get as many plants this years as we knew we had a lot to do around home, so less to water ...... the ones we did do have come on well, plus the grass is sprouting up quite quickly, but managed to cut all the grass in the back garden today, and hoping to do the front tomorrow .

just been shopping had to have a nap

i can fall asleep at any time of the day george , if it gets to around t time if i sit down i fall asleep, ive even fallen asleep sat in the garden or at the laptop sat up .....

looks like forecasters got things wrong, at least round here: supposed to be a hot beautiful day with a blustery West wind spoiling things a bit.
It's actually almost full grey cover, showers and cool with no breeze at all

Best decission is that our race has been put back 24 hrs

same here with local fed not heard if my ybs are up

my 3 ybs went up 7-45 NR 134 mls

our club birds still not liberated, they reckon the weather will clear around 3 o clock

Hope that's not the end of the season for some lofts, doesn't sound promising

never heard of so late a liberation! hope it works out but I've my doubts because I bet those youngins didn't drink, even with the water on all day. may have been better off holding till early tomorrow, time will tell.have you heard anything David?

2 from 3 home last night loft has 11 from 24 some feds have had a bad day

good percentage for you george, be no YB racing in a few years the way things are going, massive losses nearly every week is the norm it seems.
